Chasing Foxes Kennel is inspired by a very special dog, a deep bond and a series of moments and reminders that felt too meaningful not to celebrate and honor.

In 2020, my heart-dog Adele and I went out for a run, following a fox that curiously stayed just ahead of us, as if guiding the way. A couple years later, the morning I, extremely heartbroken, had to let Adele go after years of fighting cancer, a beautiful fox stood in front of us on the road.

Even to this day, years after her passing, foxes seem to appear during moments when I miss Adele’s presence - when I crave the guidance and light she provided the most.

These timely, and seemingly magic, fox encounters have become symbols of connection, and quiet guidance — reminders that love doesn’t end, it simply changes form and that the path leads us forward, no matter the challenges you face.

In honor of Adele, the path we shared and the journey we are still on, I named this teeny tiny sled dog pack Chasing Foxes Kennel as we continue to follow that path Adele is guiding us on.
